In 2018, youth from all over the county entered submissions with their thoughtful and inspirational ideas. The TOP TEN winning entries will be announced on November 15 in a grand ceremony at the Farmington Community Center. Make plans to attend.
About the Davie Respect Initiative
The Davie Respect Initaitive (DRI) is an annual challenge for youth aged 12-21, designed to develop projects that enhance the expression of respect as a key quality in Davie County.
In 2018, youth from all over the county entered submissions with their thoughtful and inspirational ideas. The top ten winning entries will be announced on November 15 in a grand ceremony at the Farmington Community Center. Make plans to attend. The 2019 DRI Challenge opens on March 1, 2019, and will run through the Fall. Check the apply page this Spring to enter your submission.
Submissions can be entered in written, multi-media, artistic or other creative format. Winners will be chosen by an all-volunteer selection panel from Davie County.
This is your big opportunity to share your creative ideas and skills, while contributing to the betterment of the community life here. You also become a candidate for a chance to win a monetary award that can be used in any fashion you choose!
10 winning submissions will be awarded $1,000 each.
