The Davie Respect Initiative is a program created to encourage and highlight Respect Projects or Ideas initiated by young adults to make a difference in Davie County.
What is a Respect Project or Idea?
A Respect Project or Idea is anything that promotes Respect in Davie County by young adults volunteering to Do good, Be kind and Demonstrate Respect to people, animals, or the environment.
What are the benefits of the DRI?
What is the Ambassadors of Respect Group (AoR) Group?
The AoR Group are past DRI award recipients, who are committed to the Davie Respect Initiative's continued success by being actively involved in supporting, volunteering to lead the DRI, and uplifting peers to participate.
Up to 3 new Ambassadors of Respect will be selected each quarter to receive a $1000 award, up to a maximum of 10 per year.

What is the Ambassadors of Respect Group (AoR) Group?

Who
- If you are age 12-21 and a Davie County resident or a member of a Davie County club, organization or church, you are invited to participate!
- You can apply by yourself, or with a group of friends!
How
- You or your group can fill out an application for a chance to be selected. Submissions can be entered in written, multi-media, artistic or other creative format.
- Anyone can nominate a potential applicant or group. The nominee will be contacted to fill out an application to qualify.
When
- Due dates for applications for each quarter:
- Newly selected Ambassadors Of Respect will be announced quarterly.
