DRI- a Collaborative Effort

​Introducing the official DRI T-shirt: a token of what DRI stands for, and itself representing an example of community collaboration. ​

Regina Graham, one of the 2019 selection panelists, emailed an idea to the DRI Group for creating a DRI T-shirt with the thought that all applicants would receive one when they applied to the DRI.  In addition, she even shared a great design for the T-shirt.  Everyone on the DRI team thought it was a great idea! Wouldn't you agree? :)

Matt Settlemyer, Mocksville Town Manager and another 2019 panelist, then offered to have the graphic design prepared and “print-ready”, another wonderful collaborative effort.  Gildan T-shirts were ordered and printed locally. This exemplified the supportive response from so many aspects of the Davie County community in direct relationship to the DRI.

​More evidence of this response has been seen in a quiet, but impactful collaboration within the Davie County community that has included weekly Respect quotes for the Davie Enterprise, regular updates on the electronic sign at the Main Street Park, support from many of our county businesses, and much more.  It is clear that the theme of Respect continues to develop ever deeper roots within the Davie County community. We invite you to be a part of it!

All DRI applicants submitting a completed application will receive a DRI T-shirt. These can be picked up on October 17, Thursday, from 3 – 5:30 at the Mocksville Library on Main Street in the Conference Room.
